Hide and Seek
Words and Music by Anna Rundall-van Tricht

Isn't it amazing how they know it all too well
Old and so familiar like the schoolyard's ringing bell
Like the marbles on the playground
words go round and round in circles
until every one has played
but no one wins...

What He has joined together let no other separate
Proud of the commitment to this far from Godly state
Say goodbye to all the loving
yet God forbid the leaving
winners know for sure
the loser walks...

When hatred through the years has filled each crack in these walls
Where I can search for feelings and find nothing at all
When I look in the mirror and I meet an empty stare
there is no one there......except the presence of a brokenhearted God

Isn't it amazing how you live and how you learn
open up your heart so you can watch it crash and burn
Loving just a little bit untill the tables turn
This is how the story goes of mismatched Pea and Pod
Standing on the sidelines is the presence of a brokenhearted God..

When hatred through the years has filled each crack in these walls
When we are bouncing insults like some children playing ball
When we will take our stand and hope the other takes a fall
that ain't love at all....and the heart that breaks is not the Lord's alone

Isn't it amazing He is here to watch and pray
even though at times we are no friend that we would stay
And yet this love, from God knows where calls for Truth or dare then.

Cheering from the other side a Snake yells out to tease:
Look, we have a loser
one is dropping to their knees.....!
